Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Engineer role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The Assistant Engineer will support senior engineers in the design, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic products, including preparing drawings, documentation, and technical reports. Responsibilities include assisting in product assembly and integration, conducting basic quality checks, and monitoring production processes on the shop floor. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, and procurement to ensure timely completion of projects and resolution of technical issues. The Assistant Engineer will also help maintain equipment, follow safety and compliance standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing and testing.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in electrical/electronic engineering principles, including basic circuit analysis, components, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Hands-on experience or internship exposure in manufacturing, testing, or assembly of electrical/electronic products is preferred.
- Proficiency with common engineering tools and software (e.g., MS Office; exposure to CAD/ECAD tools is an advantage).
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and production staff.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
- Willingness to work on-site in a manufacturing environment and adhere to safety and quality standards.
