Role Overview
We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Assistant Editor to support editorial content across our magazine, digital platforms, interviews, and special features. The role involves researching, writing, editing, interviewing, and coordinating healthcare content while maintaining high standards of accuracy and editorial quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and develop stories on healthcare, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, medtech, diagnostics, health policy, digital health, and healthcare business.
- Write news reports, features, profiles, interviews, and industry-focused articles.
- Identify story ideas, emerging trends, and editorial opportunities.
- Research, prepare, and conduct interviews with healthcare leaders, experts, policymakers, and industry professionals.
- Edit and fact-check articles for structure, grammar, accuracy, tone, and readability.
- Support magazine issues, special editions, and digital content.
- Coordinate with writers, designers, photographers, and contributors to meet deadlines.
- Adapt editorial content for websites, newsletters, and social media.
- Track developments across India’s healthcare ecosystem and relevant global trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Communications, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in journalism, healthcare/business media, publishing, or content creation.
- Strong writing, editing, research, interviewing, and fact-checking skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to simplify complex healthcare topics without compromising accuracy.
- Good understanding of the Indian healthcare ecosystem.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under deadlines.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for interviews and industry events.

Someone who is curious, proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about healthcare journalism and storytelling, with the ability to build industry relationships and turn complex developments into clear, engaging stories.
Work Schedule
Monday–Friday: Work from Office
Saturday: Half-day, Work from Home
