Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Assistant Director to work on-site in Hyderabad. The Assistant Director will support the Director in managing film projects from pre-production to post-production. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, overseeing the work of cast and crew, managing on-set operations, reviewing scripts, supervising rehearsals, and ensuring timely execution of project deliverables. The role also involves troubleshooting on set, managing logistics, and fostering a collaborative environment for successful production outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of script analysis, creative storytelling, and script editing
- Skills in scheduling, task coordination, and resource management
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and handle high-pressure environments
- Knowledge of camera equipment, production tools, and film production techniques
- Familiarity with the Telugu Film Industry and regional cinematic culture is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies, Media Communications, or related field is preferred
- Passion for filmmaking and a creative mindset are essential
