Key Responsibilities
Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Central and State labour laws.
- Manage statutory registrations, renewals, licenses, and regulatory documentations related to factory.
- Liaise with government authorities, including GPCB, Factory Inspector, Labour Department, and other statutory bodies.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and maintain compliance records.
- Monitor changes in labour laws and regulatory requirements, implementing necessary updates.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Compliance
- Ensure compliance with factory safety regulations, environmental norms, and occupational health standards.
- Coordinate safety audits, inspections, and corrective action plans.
- Oversee implementation of workplace safety policies, emergency preparedness, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with GPCB guidelines related to environmental management, waste disposal, emissions, and pollution control.
- Coordinate safety training programs and promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
HR Compliance
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, employment laws, and internal compliance standards.
- Monitor employee documentation, statutory records, and personnel files.
- Ensure compliance related to payroll, PF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, contract labour, and other statutory obligations.
- Conduct periodic compliance audits and identify areas of improvement.
- Develop and update HR policies in line with legal requirements.
Audit & Documentation
- Prepare for internal, external, and statutory audits.
- Maintain compliance dashboards, MIS reports, and statutory trackers.
- Ensure proper documentation and record retention as per legal requirements.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings.
Training & Stakeholder Coordination
- Conduct awareness sessions on statutory compliance, workplace ethics, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including HR, Administration, Production, EHS, and Legal.
- Support management in ensuring organizational compliance and risk mitigation.
Required Qualifications
- MBA in Human Resources.
- 7-10 years of experience in HR Compliance, Industrial Relations, or Statutory Compliance, preferably in the manufacturing or ceramics industry.
- Strong knowledge of Labour Laws, Factory Act, Contract Labour Act, PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, and other employment legislations.
- Hands-on experience in dealing with GPCB, Factory Inspectorate, Labour Department, and other regulatory authorities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, HRMS/ERP systems, and compliance management tools.
