About the Role:
We’re seeking an Assistant Manager – Category (Indian Wear) to drive sales, manage brand performance, and enhance customer experience for a leading e-commerce fashion platform. You will act as the business owner for your assigned categories, leveraging data and market insights to achieve revenue and margin goals.
Key Responsibilities:
🛒 Drive Sales – Develop and execute category plans to improve site metrics including conversion, AOV, and other KPIs; own top-line revenue goals within investment budgets.
📊 Monitor Brand Performance – Secure margins as per guidance; negotiate budgets, set goals, and track brand performance across campaigns.
📈 Promotions & Content – Manage website content to align with monthly and seasonal promotions; plan and execute brand campaigns across platforms.
🚚 Customer Experience – Drive banner revenue through list growth and segmentation; analyze user experience across touch points to improve retention.
📣 Reporting & Insights – Report on performance against key metrics; use web analytics to identify opportunities and corrective actions.
🤝 Stakeholder Management – Build long-term relationships with key brand partners to achieve the right category mix and business objectives.
Requirements:
✅ 3–4+ years of experience in Category Management (E-commerce / Retail / Fashion preferred)
✅ Strong understanding of P&L, margins, and revenue planning
✅ Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
✅ Experience managing brand campaigns and driving customer retention
Preferred:
⭐ Experience in Indian wear or fashion categories
⭐ Exposure to web analytics tools and site metrics
