Role Description The Assistant Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Digboi. This position supports the Branch Manager in overseeing daily branch operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to regulatory and company standards. Responsibilities include supervising, Recruitment and guiding the sales team, monitoring performance against targets, and driving customer acquisition and retention across protection, savings, retirement and child education. The role involves regular interaction with customers and Team to understand their needs, resolve queries, and ensure high levels of satisfaction. The Assistant Branch Manager also contributes to local marketing initiatives, reporting, and process improvements to enhance branch efficiency and business growth.
Qualifications
- Experience in branch operations, sales supervision, and customer service within financial services or insurance.
- Strong skills in relationship management, communication, and negotiation with diverse customers and team members.
- Ability to understand and explain life insurance products, including protection, savings, retirement, child education, and health plans.
- Capability to manage targets, analyze performance data, and implement action plans to improve branch results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts or commerce, or a related field; relevant industry certifications are an advantage.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, handle operational issues, and maintain compliance with policies and regulations.
- Comfort working in an on-site branch environment in Digboi, with a focus on local market development.
- Prior experience in life insurance and banking roles is preferred but not mandatory.
