Position: Assistant Professor – Political Science, Public Policy/ Public Administration/ History/ Sociology/ Philosophy/Economics
Location: School of Humanities and Social Sciences, IILM University, Greater Noida
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses
- Develop dynamic, student-centric curriculum and assessment strategies
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and internships
- Engage in high-quality research and publish in reputed, peer-reviewed / SCOPUS-indexed journals
- Contribute to curriculum design, academic innovation, and interdisciplinary initiatives
- Participate in institutional development, accreditation, and outreach activities
Qualifications (As per UGC Norms)
Assistant Professor
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline from a recognized university
- NET/SET qualification (as applicable under UGC regulations)
- Minimum 0–5 years of teaching/research experience
- Evidence of research publications in peer-reviewed / UGC-listed / SCOPUS-indexed journals
- Strong inclination towards teaching, research, and academic development
Associate Professor
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience in a university/college
- At least 7 publications in peer-reviewed / UGC-listed / SCOPUS-indexed journals
- Evidence of research guidance (Ph.D./M.Phil.)
- Strong academic track record with contributions to research, curriculum development, and institutional growth
- As per UGC Academic Performance Indicators (API) / latest regulations
