Role Description
This full-time role is for an Assistant/Associate Professor at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM) in the Greater Kolkata Area. The responsibilities involve designing and delivering course curriculum, conducting lectures, mentoring and evaluating students, and contributing to research in the candidate's area of specialization. The role also includes participating in university activities, workshops, and academic committees, as well as collaborating with colleagues on institutional projects. This is an on-site position.
Qualifications
- Strong subject expertise and academic knowledge in relevant engineering or management fields
- Experience in curriculum development, academic instruction, and student mentorship
- Proficiency in research, publication, and academic writing
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage students
- Strong organizational and team collaboration skills
- PhD or equivalent terminal degree in relevant discipline (preferred)
- Prior teaching experience in higher education is an advantage
- Commitment to upholding academic and institutional values
Must have : Throughout 60% marks in 10th, 12th, graduation and post graduation
