Role Description This is a full-time, on-site faculty role based in the Pune Division for Assistant / Associate / POP / Adjunct Professor in Artificial Intelligence (AI) with specialization in HR, Finance, Operations, or Marketing. The faculty member will design and deliver courses in AI applications in management, develop syllabi and teaching materials, and conduct lectures, seminars, and practical sessions. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding learners on projects and dissertations, mentoring learners on academic and career development, and fostering an environment that encourages critical thinking and ethical decision-making. The role involves conducting research in AI and management, publishing in reputable journals, engaging in curriculum enhancement, and contributing to institutional activities and committees. The faculty member is expected to collaborate with industry and academic partners, participate in conferences and workshops, and support initiatives aligned with the institute’s mission and the needs of defence and civilian learners.
Qualifications
- Advanced academic background in Management, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field, preferably with a Ph.D. or enrolled in a doctoral program; relevant master’s degree is essential.
- Strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence and its applications in HR, Finance, Operations, or Marketing, including data-driven decision-making and analytical tools.
- Demonstrated teaching competence at the postgraduate or undergraduate level, with experience in course design, classroom delivery, and learner assessment.
- Active research orientation with publications or working papers in AI, analytics, or management domains; ability to guide research projects and dissertations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse body of defence and civilian learners.
- Proficiency with digital learning platforms, educational technology, and collaborative tools to enhance teaching and learner engagement.
- Ability to contribute to academic administration, accreditation processes, and institutional development activities; prior exposure to B-school environments is an advantage.
