Assistant Area Sales Manager - KRAs
Sales Target Support and Monitoring
- Drive attainment of overall sales targets for assigned territories by consolidating and monitoring TSM performance.
- Identify gaps vs. plan at territory level; provide course-correction support to TSMs and escalate critical issues to ASM.
- Support achievement of numeric & weighted reach targets by guiding TSMs on new dealer onboarding and depth of engagement.
Focus Product & Tinting Machine Deployment
- Ensure execution of ASM’s focus-product agenda across territories.
- Monitor and support TSMs in booking, installation, and utilization of tinting machines to maximize throughput.
- Track performance of outlets with tinting machines and recommend interventions for underperforming units.
Scheme & Promotion Execution
- Cascade and clarify trade scheme mechanics and on-ground promotions for TSMs and ensure proper communication to dealers.
- Track and review scheme performance across territories; recommend tactical interventions to ASM for improving uptake.
- Validate execution of promotions during joint working with TSMs.
Dealer & Channel Partner Management
- Act as the first escalation point for dealer issues beyond the TSM’s resolution scope.
- Ensure proper receivable management and inventory discipline across territories through monitoring and spot checks.
- Support ASM in strengthening relationships with key dealers by facilitating joint engagement visits.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Consolidate territory-level market intelligence (competition pricing, schemes, activations, dealer feedback) gathered by TSMs and present synthesized reports to ASM.
- Track performance of focused products and category growth drivers at micro-territory level.
- Ensure TSMs submit timely and accurate MIS/data for area-level consolidation.
Team Development & Governance
- Coach TSMs on sales discipline, beat planning, dealer engagement, and reporting practices.
- Conduct regular performance check-ins with TSMs and share inputs with ASM for structured performance reviews.
- Drive adherence to organizational policies, compliance, and service-level expectations across territories.
