Role Description The Assistant Architect will support project teams in developing architectural concepts, preparing design presentations, and producing detailed drawings and documentation for projects across various sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in design development, coordinating layouts, preparing GFC drawings, and collaborating with senior architects and consultants to ensure design intent and technical accuracy. The role involves participating in site coordination, reviewing construction progress, and aligning design solutions with brand identity, sustainability goals, and client requirements. The Assistant Architect will also work with visualization teams, vendors, and project managers to maintain quality, timelines, and compliance standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience in concept development, space planning, and detailing.
- Ability to support Project Management activities, including coordination with consultants, vendors, and site teams, and monitoring timelines and deliverables.
- Familiarity with Integration between design and execution, ensuring design intent is maintained through drawings, specifications, and on-site coordination.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D visualization software); any exposure to Software Development or AI-assisted design tools is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution, with 2–4 years of professional experience in architecture or interior design studios.
- Strong technical drawing skills, attention to detail, and understanding of building codes, materials, and construction processes.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in principal-led teams and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Interest in innovation, sustainability, and brand-aligned design; experience in automotive, retail, hospitality, or commercial projects is an advantage.
