Role Description The Assistant Manager will support the efficient operation of business and engineering activities within the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. This full-time, on-site role includes coordinating day-to-day departmental tasks, monitoring project timelines, and assisting in resource planning to meet operational and customer requirements. The role involves preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and supporting data analysis for decision-making, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, supply chain, and finance. The Assistant Manager will help drive process improvements, support compliance with safety and quality standards, and assist in implementing initiatives aligned with the company’s mobility and EV strategies. The role also requires regular interaction with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth communication and timely issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong operational and project coordination skills, including planning, scheduling, and basic data analysis.
- Candidates should possess skills in communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving and process improvement skills, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Candidates should possess basic understanding of automotive components or manufacturing processes; exposure to EV or mobility solutions is an advantage.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with ERP or similar business systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field; relevant industry experience in automotive or manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area, manage multiple priorities, and adhere to company values of Integrity, Pioneering, Excellence, Unity, and Responsibility.
