Note - We are looking for a candidate who is working as an Operations Manager with experience in Assessment Development or Assessment Operations in an Edutech company
About the role
The Assessment Process Specialist I plays a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of assessment development and delivery processes. Working under the guidance of senior team members, this role focuses on managing project workflows, tracking schedules, and ensuring alignment with testing standards and student learning objectives. The position involves using tools like Power BI, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, and Jira to monitor progress, generate reports, and manage deliverables while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including internal teams, vendors, and clients.
The role also includes coordinating meetings and training sessions, supporting budget tracking and forecasting, and maintaining documentation within quality management systems. A strong emphasis is placed on ensuring the development of fair, reliable, and secure assessments aligned with client expectations. Additionally, the specialist contributes to process improvements, supports audit and compliance activities such as copyright management, and demonstrates an end-to-end understanding of the assessment lifecycle—from item development to test delivery and scoring—while continuously adapting to new tools and technologies.
Must Have
- 3 to 5 years of overall experience
- Must have experience in Assessment Development or Assessment Operations
- Should be from an EdTech background
- Should have beginner-level experience in Power BI
- Project & Workflow Management
- Scheduling and Timeline Tracking
- Experience with Tools: Power BI, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira
