Role Description The Assent Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chennai Area. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing asset-related activities, including tracking, documentation, lifecycle management, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. The Assent Manager will coordinate with cross-functional teams such as operations, finance, procurement, and IT to ensure accurate recording, allocation, and utilization of assets. Daily tasks may include maintaining asset registers, monitoring asset movements, supporting audits, optimizing asset usage, and preparing reports and dashboards for leadership. The role also involves implementing process improvements, supporting risk management, and contributing to cost-control initiatives across the manufacturing facilities.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in asset management, inventory control, and record-keeping, with the ability to manage high volumes of data accurately.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, preferably in electronics or related sectors, with familiarity in production environments.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant asset management or ERP tools; comfort working with reports, dashboards, and analytics.
- Knowledge of compliance, audit processes, and basic financial concepts related to asset lifecycle, depreciation, and capitalization.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and provide clear documentation and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Chennai Area and adapt to a fast-paced, large-scale manufacturing environment.
