We are looking for hands-on Mechanical Assembly Technicians with experience in assembling and integrating Special Purpose Machines (SPM), mechanical systems, and industrial assemblies.
Role Overview
The role involves:
mechanical assembly of Special Purpose Machines (SPM)
machine integration
fabrication support
fitting & alignment
assembly of custom mechanical systems
Candidates should be comfortable working in a workshop/R&D environment and handling real hardware systems.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly of Special Purpose Machines (SPM)
Mechanical fitting, alignment, and integration
Reading engineering drawings and assembly layouts
Installation of motors, actuators, bearings, shafts, and mechanical components
Support fabrication and machine setup activities
Use hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment
Assist in prototype and custom machine development
Perform testing and troubleshooting of assembled systems
Ensure assembly quality and dimensional accuracy
Coordinate with engineering and production teams
Required Skills
Experience in mechanical assembly and fitting
Understanding of machine components and industrial assemblies
Ability to read technical/assembly drawings
Hands-on experience with:
bearings
shafts
couplings
motors
actuators
structural assemblies
Familiarity with workshop tools and fabrication processes
Basic understanding of machining and manufacturing processes
Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
Preferred Background
Candidates from:
ITI Mechanical / Fitter
Diploma Mechanical
Machine Assembly Background
SPM Manufacturing Industry
Automation / Industrial Machinery Industry
Experience in:
robotics
automation
aerospace
defence manufacturing
industrial machinery
will be an added advantage.
Experience
Fresher to 3+ years
Candidates with assembly/shop-floor experience preferred
