Role Description

The Assembly Coordinator is RaajNeta's on-ground representative within the assigned AC. This is a field-intensive role for someone deeply embedded in the local political and social fabric — someone who can walk into a Sarpanch's office or a party worker's meeting and be taken seriously. The Coordinator drives RaajNeta's programme implementation, builds relationships with elected representatives, and serves as the primary link between RaajNeta's district team and the constituency on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

1. Programme Implementation & Outreach

▸  Execute RaajNeta's programmes, campaigns, and initiatives at the AC level as directed by the District Manager.

▸  Organise awareness drives and demonstration sessions for local elected representatives and party workers.

▸  Coordinate with Block and District teams to stay aligned with the broader Gujarat rollout plan.

2. Elected Representative Engagement

▸  Build and maintain a live database of Ward Councillors, Nagar Palika members, Panchayat heads, and Sarpanchs within the AC.

▸  Conduct one-on-one and group meetings to present RaajNeta's work and facilitate onboarding.

▸  Act as the primary relationship manager between RaajNeta and local political stakeholders.

3. Field Operations & Reporting

▸  Track targets and progress across the AC; submit weekly field reports to the District Manager.

▸  Handle follow-ups, escalations, and first-level queries from representatives on the ground.

▸  Collect structured feedback to feed into RaajNeta's research and regional strategy.

4. Community & Political Networking

▸  Leverage local networks — political workers, booth agents, trade bodies — to extend RaajNeta's ground reach.

▸  Represent RaajNeta at local political events, party functions, and governance programmes.

▸  Support field surveys and constituency-level data collection as assigned.

Qualifications

▸  Local resident of the assigned Assembly Constituency or a recognised native of the area — candidates with established roots and trusted relationships within the AC will be strongly preferred.

▸  Must be fluent in the local dialect/language of the constituency. Additionally, must be able to communicate in either Hindi or English for coordination with district and state teams.

▸  Must own a Smartphone and a bike and be able to ride a two-wheeler (bike) — extensive intra-AC travel is a core requirement of this role.

▸  Graduate in any discipline; Political Science, Public Administration, or Social Work preferred.

▸  2–5 years of experience in political fieldwork, community mobilisation, election management, or grassroots campaigning.

▸  Working knowledge of Gujarat's political landscape — local alliances, elected body structures, and civic administration.

Preferred Attributes

▸  Prior work with political parties, election campaigns, or elected offices — as a campaigner, PA, party worker, or office coordinator.

▸  Comfortable with digital tools: WhatsApp, smartphone, basic data entry on Google Sheets or Excel.

▸  Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage across a wide spectrum of political and public figures.

▸  High integrity, discretion, and political sensitivity. Self-motivated and target-driven.
