Eligibility Criteria of Agriculture Department Recruitment
Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Residentship:
(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency along with the online application form.
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2025.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.

Educational Qualification: A candidate must pass B.Sc (Agriculture) or a degree declared equivalent to BSc.(Agriculture) from a recognized University and also recognized by the Government of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must be registered themselves in any of the employment exchanges of Assam.
Small Family Norms: The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding "The Small Family Norms" in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.
