Role and Responsibilities
The Senior Process Specialist in the Business Adoption Team, (BAT) is a key expert responsible for driving process excellence and operational improvements across Wilton Factory, with a focus on supporting DUV/APPS and EUV factories. This role specializes in production execution applications, disturbance framework and non-standard changes in the assembly area.
The specialist acts as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring robust, standardized and continuously improving processes that enable the factory’s strategic objectives.
As Senior Business Process Specialist, you will:
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for production execution, disturbance management and non-standard changes in the assembly area
- Lead the design, qualification tests, implementation and continuous improvement of end-to-end processes, ensuring alignment with Wilton Factory strategy and operational excellence principles
- Analyze, document and optimize business processes, identifying and prioritizing requirements that determine how applications (e.g., SAP, MES, etc.) support factory operations
- Act as the primary liaison for internal customers in DUV/APPS and EUV factories, translating their needs into actionable process improvements and system enhancements
- Champion process improvement projects, communicating benefits to key users, production end users and business leaders
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions and meetings to drive adoption of new processes and changes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, architects, business process leads and subject matter experts, to ensure cohesive and prioritized process improvements
- Support the translation of factory strategy and business objectives into short- and long-term process and application improvements
- Develop and deliver training for new and existing end users on process changes and best practices
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, data integrity and change management protocols
- Up to 10% travel annually within the US and internationally
Education and Experience
To help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you will need experience working on high-tech products and with complex processes.
As Senior Business Process Specialist, you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a high-tech manufacturing or production environment, preferably within ASML or a similar organization
- Experience supporting or working closely with DUV/APPS and EUV factory operations preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in production engineering, sequence engineering, disturbance management, material master data and bill of process management
- Proficiency in SAP, MES, disturbance framework and other relevant business systems for production execution
- Experience in project management, change management, conflict resolution and cross-functional collaboration

Other Information
- This position is located on-site in Wilton, Connecticut and requires onsite presence
- Reports to: Business Adoption Team Manager, Wilton Factory Operational Excellence
- Main internal customers: DUV/APPS and EUV factories under Wilton Factory
- The role may require occasional travel to other ASML sites or customer locations
- The position is critical for maintaining operational continuity and supporting ongoing transformation initiatives in the Wilton Factory
- Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach and stretch
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally required to move around the campus and must be willing to work in a clean room environment for the entire duration of the shift, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves
Additional Responsibilities:
There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
