Role Summary
- You will be responsible for driving end-to-end sales and expanding the distribution network of car/bike care products within your assigned region. You will manage relationships with distributors, auto detailing studios, service centers, and retail auto-parts shops. You will own the regional PNL and meet the distribution sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Distributor Management: Onboard, train, and manage distributors and channel partners to ensure optimal product availability and market penetration.
- Sales Targets & Revenue: Achieve primary (direct billing) and secondary (distributor to retailer) sales targets for autocare liquids, sprays, polish, and consumables.
- Network Expansion: Identify and acquire new B2B clients, including multi-brand car workshops, independent garages, and automotive detailing studios.
- Product Demos: Conduct live product demonstrations and technical presentations for mechanics and detailing technicians to build product value.
- Market Intelligence: Track competitor pricing, monitor industry trends, and report on market shifts to the senior leadership team.
- Payment Collection: Oversee billing documentation and ensure timely payment collection to keep channel receivables healthy and avoid bad debt.
- Promotional Campaigns: Execute local marketing schemes, point-of-sale displays, and promotional events to drive off-take at the retail level.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: MBA orBachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a technical degree (Mechanical/Automobile Engineering).
- Experience:7+ years of proven B2B field sales experience in the automotive aftermarket, lubricant, or auto-components industry.
- Skills: Strong distribution network knowledge, negotiation skills, and proficiency in CRM software.
- Language: Proficiency in English, Hindi, and the local language of the assigned territory.
- Mobility: Extensive travel within the designated territory is required.
