Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Project Sales professional with strong exposure to industrial and government project sales. The candidate will be responsible for generating business from project sites, industrial plants, EPC contractors, and PSU/government projects. The role requires extensive field work and direct interaction with plant-level decision makers, contractors, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle project sales activities across assigned territory.
- Generate business from industrial plants, EPC contractors, consultants, and infrastructure projects.
- Develop relationships with plant heads, maintenance teams, procurement teams, and project managers.
- Identify upcoming government and PSU projects.
- Conduct regular site visits and client meetings.
- Coordinate techno-commercial discussions and order closures.
- Manage project pipeline from enquiry to execution.
- Achieve sales targets and business growth objectives.
- Track competitor activities and market developments.
- Support collections and customer relationship management.
Mandatory Requirements
- Strong experience in project/industrial field sales.
- Exposure to Steel, Cement, Power, Refinery, Fertilizer, or EPC industries.
- Experience dealing with contractors and project sites.
- Knowledge of PSU/government project processes and plant entry procedures.
- Comfortable with extensive field work.
- Experience in direct B2B/project sales only.
Preferred Skills
- Scaffolding knowledge (MS/Aluminium) preferred.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong relationship management ability.
- Understanding of industrial project sales cycle and tendering process.
