Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for an Assistant Professor of Sociology. The selected candidate will support lead professors in delivering lectures, preparing course materials, and conducting academic research. Responsibilities also include evaluating student performance, mentoring, and assisting in organizing workshops and seminars to support student engagement and learning.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Assistant Teaching and Education strategies
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
- Competence in Mathematics and knowledge relevant to Sociology
- Experience working with children or young adults in an academic environment
- Master’s degree or higher in Sociology or a closely related field preferred
- Ability to contribute to a collaborative and inclusive academic environment
- Experience in organizing academic events is a plus
