Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated ASIC/RTL Design Engineer to join our semiconductor design team in Bangalore. The selected candidate will work on cutting-edge SoC development projects involving advanced digital CMOS technologies and exposure to industry-leading IPs such as ARM cores, Ethernet, DDR, DMA, PCIe, SATA, and internal proprietary IPs.
The role offers an opportunity to contribute across the complete ASIC/SoC design lifecycle, including architecture, RTL design, verification, synthesis, timing closure, and silicon bring-up activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design and development of complex SoCs for advanced semiconductor products.
- Work closely with architecture teams on chip definition and micro-architecture development.
- Convert architectural and micro-architectural specifications into high-quality RTL implementations.
- Develop and debug RTL using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Collaborate with verification teams for functional validation and debug activities.
- Support synthesis, timing closure, and low-power design activities.
- Interface with physical design, emulation, software, and silicon bring-up teams.
- Work on integration and validation of industry-standard IPs including:
- ARM cores
- Ethernet
- DDR
- DMA
- PCIe
- SATA
- Internal/custom IPs
- Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and technical discussions.
Technical Skills- Good understanding of SoC architecture and ASIC design flow.
- Hands-on experience in:
- RTL coding
- Debugging and verification
- Synthesis support
- Timing closure activities
- Strong knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Familiarity with ARM-based SoC designs and standard I/O interfaces.
- Understanding of digital design fundamentals and CMOS concepts.
- Exposure to simulation/debug tools and linting methodologies is preferred.
Preferred Skills:- Internship/project experience in ASIC/RTL design.
- Exposure to FPGA prototyping or emulation environments.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python/Perl/TCL is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with EDA tools and semiconductor development methodologies.
