Job Description

We are looking for a volunteer to help us promote the work of our first Ashoka Fellows in the DRC and the relevance of social entrepreneurship for the broader development goals of one of the poorest countries in the world (as opposed to classical international development aid).

The goal is to leverage the content produced by Ashoka about the 7 Fellows in the DRC to identify and approach leading journalists covering the DRC or likely to be interested. We would ideally like to target US, UK, Belgium and French journalists to start with. The volunteer would be in charge of coordinating this media outreach project. It is a very inspiring project with a big potential to bring a different lens about the DRC showing concrete solutions instead of speaking about the conflict only.

If you are interested in this project we would love to hear from you. Please present yourself succinctly, your motivation and why you are a fit for the project. Thank you!
