In this role, you’ll provide personalized support to Memory Care residents in accordance with their individual service plans—helping with daily activities, fostering independence, and building meaningful relationships. Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual’s service plan

Initiates and participates in leisure activities provided for residents as described in the activity calendar. Encourages residents to socialize and participate in planned activities or programs and to develop friendships with other residents

Maintains residents’ records in our digital platform daily. This includes documentation related to leisure activities, incidents and observations, reporting changes in residents’ physical or mental condition, visitors, etc.

Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for the residents

Responds promptly and positively to resident requests for assistance, including emergency pull cords, telephone calls, and requests from family and friends
Qualifications:

3-6 months as a direct service provider

Experience providing care to older adults preferred

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to exercise independent judgment

Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed
Pay:
$19.50-21.00 an hour, based on experience
