About the role

Applications Technology- you will gain hands-on experience across various facets of the applications and platforms ecosystem, with a specific focus on how product managers, architects, portfolio leaders, application owners, and service delivery managers collaborate to drive business success. This internship will provide you with exposure to key processes and insights into effective communication, presentations, and leadership within a dynamic healthcare technology environment. You will work alongside professionals across multiple roles, allowing you to see the day-to-day activities that bring complex applications and platforms to life while sharpening your business, management, and technical skills. Potential Responsibilities Could include: Assist in tracking the progress of product development and help in preparing project documentation. Collaborate with solution architects to understand the design and technical architecture of platforms and applications. Participate in discussions about system integration, scalability, and technical challenges. Support portfolio leaders in analyzing and managing the lifecycle of various applications and platforms. Help track performance, costs, and risks associated with portfolios, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Assist application owners with the management and optimization of applications. Help address operational challenges and ensure services meet agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs). Observe and participate in meetings, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Assist in preparing presentations and reports for management and business leaders. Help identify areas for improvement and assist in driving changes. Assist in coordinating efforts between technical and business teams to meet deadlines and expectations. Preferred: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), General Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong interest in business, technology, and managing complex applications and platforms Basic understanding of IT systems, application management, and software development processes Experience or coursework in project management, business analysis, or IT service management. Exposure to agile methodologies or project management frameworks. Familiarity with enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and service delivery models. Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate across diverse functional areas. Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate business processes for optimization.
