Summer Product Manager – Intern

Job Overview: As a Product Manager Intern at Ascend Cargo Systems, you will play a key role in assisting our product team in the development and optimization of our AI-driven platform. You will gain exposure to the full product lifecycle, from ideation through to launch, and contribute directly to creating innovative solutions that improve supply chain efficiency for our clients. This is a hands-on opportunity that will allow you to work alongside cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, while developing your skills in product management. Key Responsibilities: Product Research & Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and gather user feedback to understand customer needs and identify opportunities for new features or improvements. Roadmap Support: Assist in maintaining and updating product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with company goals, customer demands, and technological advancements. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure product features meet user needs and are delivered on time.User Story Creation: Help write and prioritize user stories, defining product requirements, and assisting in the development of acceptance criteria. Product Testing & Quality Assurance: Participate in product testing, track issues and bugs, and help ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-friendly features. Performance Metrics & Reporting: Collect and analyze product performance data, providing insights to improve functionality, user experience, and overall product efficiency. Product Documentation: Assist in drafting and maintaining product documentation, including release notes, user guides, and internal knowledge resources. Customer Focus: Ensure that customer satisfaction and user experience are at the forefront of every product decision by helping to gather user feedback and identify pain points in logistics operations.
