About the role
We are working in partnership with one of our clients who are currently looking to take on a temporary Production Assistant working in their Test Department.
This is a technical role and you need to have the following in order to be considered for the role:
testing of vacuum tube photomultipliers
data entry on our computer system
routine calibration of test equipment and inspection work
The client would normally require the candidate for this vacancy to have an A-Level in Physics, or the equivalent, and have familiarity with electrical test equipment (meters, oscilloscope, etc.).
Experience of electro-optical testing would be an advantage.
The testing work will be carried out in a low light level, air-conditioned environment.
You will also be required to be responsible for locking up the site at the end of the day. This will involve working a slightly late shift, finishing at 6.30pm.
