Job description:
- Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and maintain applications on the AS400 / IBM iSeries platform. Work extensively with RPG, RPGLE, CLLE, and related AS400 technologies. Write and optimize complex SQL and DB2 queries, stored procedures, and triggers. Perform application analysis, debugging, and issue resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Participate in system testing, integration testing, and production validation. Provide on-call production support as part of a rotation schedule. Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of AS400 applications. Prepare and maintain technical documentation. Required Skills: Hands-on experience with AS400 / IBM iSeries, RPG/400, RPGLE, CL/CLLE. Strong SQL and DB2 knowledge (advanced querying and tuning). Good understanding of SDLC, production support, and change management processes. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willingness and flexibility to provide on-call support."
