Job Requirement:

Experienced COBOL Developer/Senior Developer with 5 - 8 Years experience in core development. Skilled, Proficient and Handson in AS400 COBOL, CL, DB400. Strong background in coding, troubleshooting, and testing.
The candidate will be working in the application development project in the AS/400 COBOL based application in the healthcare industry domain.

Responsibility:

Design, Code, test and debug applications running on the AS400 platform using CL, COBOL and RPG
Excellent programming skills on the iSeries Platform - Analyze and create programs using COBOL , SQLCOBOL, CBLLE and Control Language (CLP/CLLE).
Very good knowledge of SQL concepts - Analyze and modify complex SQL queries, embedded SQL in SQLCOBOL, cursor programming.
Database Concepts - Create and analyze Physical files, Logical FIles, SQL tables, indexes, Views and Stored procedures.
