Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AS/400 RPG Developer to support application development, maintenance, and production support activities on iSeries systems. The role involves working on RPG programming, database management, and troubleshooting issues to ensure smooth business operations.\

Job Title: AS/400 RPG Developer (C1 Grade)

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 6–8 Years

Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM IST

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using RPG (RPG IV, RPG ILE, RPG Free) and CL programming
• Perform application support, debugging, and issue resolution
• Work on DB2/400 databases, SQL queries, and data handling
• Handle web services, MQ integration, and batch schedulers
• Manage journals, FTP processes, and system enhancements
• Participate in requirement analysis, design, and development activities

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in AS/400 (iSeries) development
• Proficiency in RPG, CL, DB2/400
• Knowledge of SQL, Web Services, MQ
• Experience in debugging, support, and maintenance
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
