About the role

The BIM Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the BIM strategy for assigned projects and ensuring that BIM deliverables are of the highest quality. The role will require close liaison with the Project Management team, the engineering discipline leads and external supply chain to ensure seamless integration and implementation of BIM practices on the projects. The BIM Manager will be accountable for the following responsibilities: - Develop and implement BIM implementation plans and strategies in line with client and project requirements - Manage and mentor the BIM team and ensure they are fully trained and competent to deliver the required BIM services - Ensure the BIM processes, procedures and workflows are implemented effectively and are adhered to - Identify and manage BIM risks and issues and drive continuous improvement - Provide reporting on BIM performance to the project team and clients - Assist with the development of BIM standards, guidelines and specifications - Support the digital engineering agenda through the use of emerging technologies - Act as the key BIM contact and champion on the project
