Position: Safety Steward
Location: Hyderabad
Educational Qualification
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Industrial Safety, Civil Engineering, or
related field.
Certification in Safety Management / OSHA / NEBOSH will be an added advantage.
Experience
2 to 4 years of relevant experience in construction or real estate industry.
Experience in high-rise residential/commercial projects preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring and ensuring implementation of safety standards at project sites.
Conducting regular site safety inspections and identifying hazards.
Ensuring workers follow PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safety procedures.
Assisting in conducting safety induction and toolbox talks for site workers.
Reporting unsafe conditions and coordinating corrective actions.
Maintaining safety records, checklists, incident reports, and compliance
documentation.
Supporting emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures.
Coordinating with site engineers, contractors, and project teams on safety matters.
Ensuring compliance with statutory safety regulations and company safety policies.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of construction site safety practices and regulations.
Ability to identify workplace hazards and recommend preventive measures.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Basic knowledge of safety documentation and reporting.
Proficiency in MS Office preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates with real estate/construction project experience preferred.
Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in site-based environment and handle safety compliance effectively.
