Electronic Data Interchange Developer - CSV/IDoc

Position : EDI Developer.

Experience : 4-8 Yrs.

Location : Hyderabad.

Notice Period : 30 days.

Primary Skills : EDI mapping tool, Sterling Integrator, Mercator, EDI Protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end EDI mapping, including working with Positional, CSV, XML, IDoc, X12, EDIFACT, and other relevant formats.
• Develop and implement solutions using communication protocols such as sFTP, AS2, HTTP/HTTPS, and VAN.
• Experience with Web Services and API integration is a plus.
• Utilize LightWell framework effectively to develop EDI solutions.
• Work with XSLT, JSON, and SI BP technologies to enhance mapping and integration solutions.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and provide technical clarifications related to mapping and integration.
• Assist Business Analysts in the technical analysis and design of mapping solutions.
• Ensure all solutions are developed and tested according to business requirements, with a focus on delivering high-quality, accurate solutions.
• Conduct thorough unit testing to verify that solutions meet design specifications and perform as expected.
• Perform end-to-end testing to confirm that implemented changes do not introduce negative impacts or regressions.
• Adhere to standard development guidelines, ensuring code is structured, documented, and tested according to best practices.
• Document unit test results and mapping specifications in the agreed-upon format for future reference and traceability.
• Coordinate with the Tech QA team for approvals and to address any quality concerns or issues.
• Proactively identify any technical challenges and communicate potential non-standard solutions to the lead developer and appropriate teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., APIC, ESB, eDC, CW1) to implement complete end-to-end integration solutions.
• Share knowledge about special solutions and best practices with other developers to ensure consistent development standards and future reference.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with EDI mapping tools and protocols (Positional, CSV, XML, IDoc, X12, EDIFACT).
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols like sFTP, AS2, HTTP/HTTPS, VAN.
• Experience with Web Services and API integrations is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with LightWell framework.
• Proficiency in XSLT and JSON.
• Experience in Development, Quality Assurance, and Testing of EDI solutions.
• Strong ability to collaborate with Business Analysts to clarify requirements and deliver quality solutions.
• Ability to conduct thorough testing to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of mapping solutions.
• Excellent documentation skills to ensure compliance with internal processes and for future reference.

• Experience with Sterling Integrator (SI) BP.
