Position Title: Database Security Specialist – DAM

CTC: 6 LPA

Exp: 1-2 Yr

Location: Mumbai

Working Mode: Onsite

Primary Skill: : Database Security, DAM solutions, DAM deployment/management, DSF and DRA components, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, DB2, PostgreSQL, and cloud databases

Qualification: Any Graduation

Key Responsibilities

∙Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of DAM solutions across various

environments including Imperva DAM (DSF, DRA), IBM Guardium, and Trellix DAM.

∙Design, deploy, and maintain policies for user activity monitoring, privileged user control,

and sensitive data protection.

∙Configure and fine-tune DAM agents, collectors, gateways, and log retention to meet

compliance requirements (e.g., RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR).

∙Perform database discovery, classification, and vulnerability assessments using DAM tools.

∙Integrate DAM solutions with SIEM platforms (e.g., QRadar, Splunk, ArcSight) for real-time

monitoring and alerting.

∙Ensure effective policy management, alert tuning, and false positive reduction to improve

operational efficiency.

∙Manage access control and RBAC within DAM platforms to ensure least-privilege access.

∙Collaborate with DBAs, compliance, and application security teams to ensure secure

database configurations.

∙Create and maintain as-built documentation, baselining templates, and SOPs for DAM

operations.

∙Develop and present regular reports, dashboards, and audit trails to stakeholders and

regulatory bodies.

∙Support internal/external audit and compliance initiatives by ensuring adequate controls and

logs are in place.

∙Stay updated on industry best practices, threats, and new features in DAM technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

∙Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent

work experience).

∙2+ years of experience in Database Security and DAM deployment/management.

∙Deep hands-on experience with Imperva DAM (including DSF and DRA components).

∙Proven experience with IBM Guardium (S-TAPs, GIM, Policies, Reports, Workflows).

∙Familiarity with Trellix DAM (formerly McAfee Database Security) and its integration

patterns.

∙Strong understanding of Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, DB2, PostgreSQL, and cloud databases.

∙Experience with cloud DAM deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP preferred).

∙Familiarity with compliance frameworks and database-related regulatory requirements.

∙Scripting experience (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation is a plus.

∙Experience in integration with SIEM/SOC ecosystems.

∙Strong communication and documentation skills.
