Hiring Alert | Research Scientist / Research Associate – AI (Voice/Data)
CTC: Upto 70-80 LPA Fixed** | Location: Pune, India
We are looking for exceptional AI Researchers and Applied Scientists to build next-generation Sovereign AI systems designed specifically for India-scale financial, retail, and digital ecosystems.
This is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of frontier AI research, multimodal intelligence, autonomous AI agents, and real-world enterprise-scale deployment.
As part of an advanced AI Innovation & Research Division, you will work on building Small Language Models (SLMs), Multimodal AI Engines, Agentic AI frameworks, and high-performance AI systems capable of solving uniquely Indian challenges across language, accessibility, trust, and scale.
What You’ll Work On
• Architect and pre-train domain-specific Small Language Models (1B–7B parameters) optimized for BFSI and enterprise intelligence use cases
• Build multimodal “Vision + Voice + Text” AI systems for hyper-personalized customer experiences and regional language interactions
• Develop autonomous AI agents using advanced reasoning frameworks such as Chain-of-Thought and ReAct architectures
• Work on geospatial intelligence models combining satellite imagery, transaction intelligence, and alternative data signals
• Design synthetic data generation frameworks for privacy-preserving AI model training
• Research and implement scalable AI systems across NLP, Computer Vision, Speech AI, and Agentic AI ecosystems
• Collaborate with premier academic ecosystems and research labs to drive breakthrough innovation and AI productization
• Contribute to patents, research publications, and enterprise-scale AI transformation initiatives
Ideal Candidate Profile
• PhD/Post-Doc/M.Tech from top-tier institutes such as IITs, IISc, CMU, Stanford, or equivalent research-focused universities
• Strong expertise in Deep Learning, NLP, Multimodal AI, Computer Vision, or Generative AI
• Hands-on proficiency in PyTorch, JAX, CUDA, Triton, distributed GPU training, and large-scale AI systems
• Strong understanding of Transformers, Diffusion Models, State Space Models (Mamba), Speech AI, and Autonomous Agent architectures
• Proven research, open-source, publication, or innovation track record preferred
