About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and research-driven AI Researcher to join a growing Artificial Intelligence and Data Science team. The role involves driving advanced research initiatives in Generative AI, Machine Learning, NLP, and modern AI architectures while building scalable solutions for real-world business problems.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced research in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and Generative AI.
- Design, develop, evaluate, and optimize AI/ML models for large-scale enterprise applications.
- Work on state-of-the-art technologies including LLMs, Transformers, Explainable AI, Agentic AI systems, Reinforcement Learning, and Graph Neural Networks.
- Build scalable AI solutions for intelligent automation, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, personalization, and decision intelligence.
- Publish research findings in reputed conferences, journals, or technical forums.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business teams to convert research prototypes into production-ready applications.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI research and evaluate emerging technologies for practical implementation.
- Mentor junior data scientists and researchers while fostering a strong innovation-led culture.
- Contribute to AI strategy, research roadmaps, whitepapers, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Ensure responsible AI practices, fairness, explainability, and regulatory compliance across AI systems.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in AI Research, Machine Learning, or Applied AI Engineering.
- Minimum 2–3 research publications in recognised AI/ML conferences or journals such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, ACL, EMNLP, or equivalent.
- Strong expertise in:
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Transformers & Generative AI
- Explainable AI (XAI)
- Deep Learning & NLP
- Agentic AI frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face, and modern AI ecosystems.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets, cloud platforms, distributed computing, and production ML pipelines.
- Strong understanding of MLOps, model deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable AI infrastructure.
- Ability to take AI models from research stage to enterprise-grade deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in BFSI, fintech, risk analytics, or customer intelligence domains.
- Exposure to AI-driven decision systems, fraud analytics, recommendation engines, or intelligent automation platforms.
- Contributions to open-source AI projects or active participation in the AI research community.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, Spark, vector databases, and RAG-based architectures.
- Understanding of Responsible AI and AI governance frameworks.
