About the Role
We are looking for a highly research-driven AI Researcher to join our growing AI & Data Science team. This role focuses on solving complex, real-world problems in credit risk, fraud detection, NLP, and customer intelligence using cutting-edge AI techniques.
You will work at the intersection of research and production, building advanced AI models and translating them into scalable business solutions.
🔬 Key Responsibilities
- Conduct applied research in AI/ML, Deep Learning, NLP, and Generative AI
- Design and develop state-of-the-art models (Transformers, LLMs)
- Work on high-impact use cases like credit risk modelling and fraud detection
- Translate research ideas into production-ready systems
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams
- Stay updated with latest advancements in AI research and innovation
- Contribute to the organization’s AI strategy and roadmap
🎯 Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in AI/ML / Applied Research
- M.Tech / PhD in Computer Science, AI, ML, Statistics, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 research publications in top-tier AI/ML conferences/journals (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, etc.)
- Strong expertise in:
- Machine Learning & Deep Learning
- Transformers, NLP, LLMs, Generative AI
- Hands-on experience in taking models from research to production
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with PyTorch / TensorFlow
⭐ Good to Have
- Experience in BFSI / Fintech domain
- Knowledge of credit risk, fraud detection models
- Exposure to MLOps, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Contributions to open-source or research community
