Job Title: AI Intern

About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and curious AI Intern to join our onsite team in Kolkata. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world AI and machine learning projects, including working with modern LLM frameworks, vector databases, cloud platforms, and computer vision systems. You will collaborate closely with developers and contribute to building scalable AI-powered applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in building and training machine learning and deep learning models
• Work on data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
• Develop AI/LLM-based applications using frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex
• Integrate vector databases and implement semantic search or RAG pipelines
• Build and implement computer vision solutions using OpenCV and deep learning techniques
• Work on image/video processing tasks such as object detection, classification, and tracking
• Build backend services and APIs for AI applications
• Support deployment and testing on cloud platforms
• Maintain clear documentation of development and experiments
Required Skills:
• Programming: Python, TypeScript
• ML/AI Frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, FastAI
• LLM Tools: LangChain, LlamaIndex
• Computer Vision: OpenCV, basic image processing, CNN architectures
• Databases: MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Vector DBs: Chroma, milvus, pinecone
• Backend: Django, Node.js
• Cloud: AWS or GCP
• Other: Linux, basic system design, API development
Preferred Qualifications:
• B.Sc / M.Sc in Statistics, Data Science, or related field
• B.Tech in Computer Science or related discipline
• Prior internship or project experience in AI/ML or Computer Vision is an advantage
• Strong portfolio (GitHub, deployed projects, or case studies)
• Understanding of generative AI, embeddings, LLM-based systems, or computer vision applications
