About the Role:
We are looking for an AI Intern interested in applying artificial intelligence to solve business problems around sustainability & climate. The role will support automation of internal workflows, development of basic knowledge systems, and integration of AI capabilities into existing and new internal tools that support ESG delivery and data insights.
We are seeking motivated interns who are eager to explore the intersection of sustainability and AI, and contribute to meaningful internal automation and product initiatives while learning in a fast-growing environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support AI-driven automation of workflows using LLMs and no-code/open-source tools, including agents and recurring process automation.
- Assist in building and maintaining knowledge databases and processing systems using embeddings and vector databases to analyze data and generate insights.
- Contribute to integrating and customizing AI capabilities for analysis and summarization within existing tools and develop lightweight applications, including secure API and LLM integrations.
- Support prompt design and optimization for business scenarios, while following coding standards, version control, basic testing practices, and output evaluation.
Additional Areas of Contribution:
- Assist in evaluating outputs and maintaining basic quality checks, create simple visualizations when required.
- Demonstrate initiative in debugging, troubleshooting, and improving existing tools and workflows.
Technical Skills:
- Working knowledge of AI fundamentals, including LLMs, embeddings, RAG techniques, and basic machine learning concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Python and document processing libraries such as PyMuPDF, pdfplumber, python-docx, and python-pptx.
- Familiarity with vector databases and embedding workflows using tools like Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, or Chroma.
- Exposure to no-code/low-code workflow automation and AI tooling such as n8n, Zapier, Make, Google Vertex AI, AppSheet, OpenAI AgentKit, or ChatGPT (agent features).
- Exposure to web frameworks and tools (Streamlit, Flask, Django or Node.js), with experience integrating APIs and handling data flows.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering practices and use of AI models for automation, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
Desired profile includes:
- Graduate with a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Final year students can also be considered.
- Hands-on exposure to AI integrations, NLP, or automation through academic projects, internships (3–6 months preferred), or personal work.
- Ability to demonstrate practical AI-related work through a GitHub repository or equivalent portfolio.
