Role Description This is a visiting , on-site Artificial Intelligence Faculty position based in the Pune Division. The faculty member will design, deliver, and continuously improve AI-related courses, including topics such as machine learning, deep learning, data science fundamentals, and applied AI. Daily responsibilities include preparing lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions; developing course materials, assignments, and assessments; and providing constructive feedback to learners. The role involves mentoring students on projects, guiding them on research or industry applications of AI, and supporting them in building strong portfolios. The faculty member will also collaborate with academic or training teams to update curricula based on industry trends, participate in academic meetings, and contribute to workshops, seminars, and other learner engagement activities.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science concepts, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
- Hands-on experience with common AI/ML tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch) and version control (e.g., Git).
- Experience in curriculum design, lesson planning, and assessment creation for technical subjects, preferably in AI or related fields.
- Proven ability to teach, coach, or mentor learners at varying skill levels, using inclusive and engaging teaching methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear instructional materials and provide detailed feedback.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a closely related discipline; higher qualifications or research experience in AI are an advantage.
- Industry or applied project experience in AI/ML, such as model development, deployment, or data-driven problem solving, is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, adapt to evolving technologies and curricula, and maintain a learner-focused approach.
