Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled AI Engineer – Agentic AI & Process Automation with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in building production-grade AI applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI workflows, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). This role focuses on designing intelligent, enterprise-ready AI systems using Azure OpenAI, vector databases, and backend integrations to automate processes and enhance decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications leveraging Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic workflows.

• Develop intelligent AI agents capable of reasoning over business context, retrieving relevant data, invoking tools, and triggering workflows within defined guardrails.

• Build and optimize RAG-based solutions using embeddings, vector databases, document chunking strategies, metadata design, and retrieval optimization.

• Integrate Azure OpenAI services with backend systems, APIs, data pipelines, enterprise applications, and workflow automation tools.

• Define and improve prompt strategies, instruction patterns, memory mechanisms, tool schemas, and evaluation methods to ensure high-quality and reliable outputs.

• Collaborate with backend developers and data engineers to deliver secure, scalable, production-ready AI solutions.

• Implement grounding, validation, fallback handling, logging, and response-quality monitoring to minimize hallucinations and ensure trustworthy AI behavior.

• Prototype and productionize AI use cases across document intelligence, support automation, workflow copilots, decision support, and process optimization.

Required Skills:

• 2–4 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or AI-driven application development.

• Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience building backend or full-stack AI applications.

• Solid experience with Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic AI workflows.

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing RAG architectures.

• Strong understanding of vector databases, embeddings, retrieval systems, and chunking strategies.

• Experience with Azure OpenAI and related Azure services for AI deployment and integration.

• Knowledge of API integration and backend system integration.

• Familiarity with MLOps basics, model monitoring, and AI system observability.

• Strong axnalytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

• Good communication skills with the ability to document technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Azure-based AI/ML ecosystems beyond OpenAI services.

• Exposure to workflow automation or orchestration platforms.

• Familiarity with enterprise AI security, governance, and cost optimization concepts.

• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise or non-SAP systems.
