Role Description
The Artificial Intelligence Engineer role is a full-time remote position focused on designing, implementing, and deploying AI solutions that support early-stage ventures on the platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and prototyping models, building and optimizing algorithms for pattern recognition, natural language processing, and neural networks, and integrating these models into production-grade software systems. The engineer will collaborate with founders, product teams, and data specialists to understand problem statements, define technical requirements, and deliver scalable AI features that support validation, market analysis, and product development. The role also involves maintaining existing AI pipelines, monitoring performance, refining models based on real-world data, and documenting architectures and best practices for long-term sustainability.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and version control.
- Practical experience with Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, including training, evaluation, and optimization of models.
- Hands-on expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), such as text classification, entity extraction, and language modeling.
- Proficiency in AI-related programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
- Experience building and deploying AI systems to production environments (cloud platforms, APIs, microservices) is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with startup environments, experimentation culture, and translating business problems into technical solutions is a plus.
