Senior AI/ML Engineer
Experience: 3–5 Years
Role Overview :
Looking for an AI Engineer to join a product-based organization, to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI-driven solutions, including AI agents, Managed Cloud Platform (MCP) modules, and scalable automation systems. The role requires strong expertise in model development, fine-tuning, optimization, performance benchmarking, and production deployment, along with the ability to collaborate across teams and drive innovation through research and POCs.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement AI agents with advanced capabilities for multiple use cases, ensuring smooth transition from prototype to production deployment.
• Develop robust Managed Cloud Platform (MCP) solutions and build scalable automation pipelines to streamline processes.
• Work on AI model development, including fine-tuning, customization, optimization, and performance benchmarking using metrics such as accuracy, F1-score, etc.
• Improve inference efficiency in terms of time, cost, and memory usage, while ensuring scalability and maintainability of AI systems.
• Deliver AI projects, agent systems, and MCP solutions within defined timelines while managing multiple parallel initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure AI solutions align with functional and technical requirements.
• Drive cost optimization by improving resource utilization across compute, storage, and licensing, and enhancing overall system efficiency.
• Contribute to AI innovation through R&D, POCs, and the adoption of new frameworks, algorithms, and technologies.
• Maintain high standards of documentation, including architecture design, code, and model cards, while ensuring compliance with AI coding standards and model governance practices.
• Standardize AI pipelines, reusable components, and internal knowledge bases/libraries across projects.
• Mentor junior AI engineers, support team capability development, and promote knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Required Skills & Expertise
• Strong experience in AI/ML model development, fine-tuning, and optimization
• Hands-on expertise in AI agent development and deployment
• Experience with Managed Cloud Platform (MCP) and automation workflows/pipelines
• Knowledge of model evaluation metrics (accuracy, F1-score, etc.)
• Experience in inference optimization, production deployment, and scalable AI architectures
• Familiarity with model governance, documentation standards, and AI system design
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and debugging skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple AI projects
• Experience in building cross-product AI solutions and integrations
• Exposure to AI research, POCs, and emerging AI technologies/frameworks
• Prior experience in mentoring or leading AI teams
