Client Introduction
In this role, you will collaborate closely with one of our esteemed clients—a global leader in their industry, recognized for their commitment to quality, innovation, and excellence. They have partnered with Dautom as their trusted IT consulting provider for upcoming strategic initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop end-to-end AI agent workflows, including multi-step task planning, tool use, and autonomous execution logic.
Implement agent orchestration layers using open-source frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar enterprise agentic platforms.
Architect and build multi-agent routing and coordination mechanisms, including agent-to-agent handoff, delegation, and parallel execution patterns.
Develop and maintain RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines, integrating internal knowledge bases, document stores, and external APIs as grounding sources.
Integrate AI agents with government digital services, REST/GraphQL APIs, databases, and the broader DS ecosystem.
Build robust monitoring, logging, tracing, and evaluation frameworks to assess agent behaviour, reliability, and output quality in production.
Optimise AI workflows for scalability, low latency, and high reliability under real-world production loads.
Collaborate with AI Product Management, data engineering, and solution architecture teams to translate requirements into production systems.
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years specifically working on AI/ML or LLM-based systems.
- Hands-on production experience with at least one agentic framework: LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of RAG architectures — vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Qdrant), embedding models, and retrieval strategies.
- Proficiency in Python; strong command of async programming, API integration, and backend development patterns.
- Experience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Mistral, Llama, or equivalent) into production-grade systems.
- Familiarity with agent evaluation methods — hallucination detection, faithfulness scoring, tool-call accuracy.
- Working knowledge of containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud deployment for AI workloads.
