We are now hiring a high-ownership AI Engineer at SDE level who can build real working solutions end to end.
Role Overview
This is not a narrow research, prompt-engineering, or model-training role.
We are looking for an AI Engineer who can take a business problem, understand the workflow, design the architecture, write the code, integrate APIs, build the product, deploy it, test it with users, and iterate until it works in the real world.
The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of serious hands-on experience and the ability to independently build AI-driven solutions across GTM automation, sales intelligence, document intelligence, invoice and receivables workflows, research automation, CRM automation, workflow automation, NLP applications, and internal business copilots.
This role is for someone who can operate with ownership, speed, and product thinking.
What You Will Typically Build For Our Clients:
1. GTM and Sales Automation
- AI prospect research engines.
- Personalized outreach generation systems.
- Lead scoring and account prioritization workflows.
- Gmail, CRM, LinkedIn, Apollo, Clay, Instantly, HubSpot, and similar integrations.
- Duplicate-checking and follow-up automation.
- Sales intelligence dashboards.
2. Finance and Operations Automation
- Invoice intake and classification.
- Vendor payment prioritization.
- Accounts receivable tracking.
- Payment reminder workflows.
- Reconciliation support.
- Cash-flow visibility dashboards.
- Document extraction from invoices, receipts, contracts, and bank statements.
3. AI Research and Knowledge Systems
- RAG-based research assistants.
- Internal knowledge copilots.
- Document analysis engines.
- Market and company research automation.
- Proposal and presentation support tools.
4. NLP and Document Intelligence
- Email and document classification.
- Information extraction from PDFs, contracts, invoices, reports, and business documents.
- Summarization and structured output generation.
- Pattern recognition across business workflows.
- Human-in-the-loop review systems.
5. Client-Facing AI Prototypes
- AI pilots for client use cases.
- Workflow diagnostics and ROI calculators.
- Lightweight SaaS-style internal tools.
- AI systems that can move from prototype to production.
Core Responsibilities
You will be expected to:
- Convert ambiguous business problems into technical specifications.
- Design end-to-end AI solution architecture.
- Build frontend, backend, database, and AI logic.
- Integrate third-party APIs and business tools.
- Build, test, deploy, and maintain AI applications.
- Apply NLP, machine learning, pattern recognition, and neural-network-based techniques where relevant.
- Build RAG systems, AI agents, structured-output workflows, and automation pipelines.
- Ensure software development best practices across the project lifecycle.
- Create reliable systems with logging, error handling, monitoring, evaluation, and fallbacks.
- Work with business, consulting, and client teams to translate requirements into working software.
- Prioritize business impact, usability, reliability, and speed of execution.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, AI engineering, machine learning, NLP, data science, automation, or applied AI product development.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- B.Tech/M.Tech from Tier I College.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and computational techniques.
- Experience building and deploying AI or ML applications.
- Strong knowledge of NLP and its application to real-world business problems.
- Experience with pattern recognition, neural networks, embeddings, classification, extraction, and structured prediction.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar.
- Experience with RAG, vector databases, embeddings, chunking, retrieval quality, prompt engineering, structured outputs, and tool calling.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Supabase, Firebase, or similar.
- API integration experience.
- Git-based development workflow.
- Ability to deploy applications on cloud or modern hosting platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
Good to Have
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar orchestration tools.
- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, Chroma, or pgvector.
- Experience with OCR, PDF parsing, invoice extraction, document AI, or contract intelligence.
- Experience with Gmail API, Google Workspace APIs, HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Clay, Instantly, Notion, Airtable, or Slack integrations.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, Vercel, Railway, Render, Supabase, or similar platforms.
- Experience building internal tools, SaaS products, automation platforms, or AI copilots.
- Experience with dashboards, analytics, and data pipelines.
- Prior startup, consulting, SaaS, or founder-led environment experience.
What We Are Not Looking For
We are not looking for someone who:
- Only writes prompts.
- Only builds demos that do not work in production.
- Cannot build end to end.
- Cannot integrate APIs.
- Cannot deploy software.
- Needs detailed instructions for every task.
- Cannot debug independently.
- Does not understand business workflows.
- Over-engineers instead of shipping.
- Builds technically interesting tools that users do not adopt.
Hiring Assignment
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a practical assignment in a limited time window.
The assignment will test whether the candidate can independently build an end-to-end AI solution.
Candidates will be evaluated on:

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is an early-career but high-caliber AI Engineer with 2–3 years of serious hands-on experience and the maturity to operate with founder-level ownership.
You may not have 8–10 years of experience, but you should already have built real products, shipped working AI workflows, integrated APIs, deployed applications, and solved ambiguous technical problems independently.
You can speak to business users, understand workflows, design systems, write code, integrate APIs, deploy products, test outputs, and iterate based on feedback.
You do not wait for perfect instructions. You ask sharp questions, make assumptions explicit, build quickly, and improve continuously.
