Role Description The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineer will design, develop, and deploy AI and ML models that address complex business problems for Naveera’s enterprise clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and preparing data, building and training models, evaluating performance, and optimizing algorithms for scalability and reliability. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems, support application modernization initiatives, and ensure that models are secure, explainable, and aligned with business outcomes. The role also involves documenting solutions, participating in code reviews, and staying current with industry trends in AI, GenAI, and data engineering. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Madurai.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in machine learning and AI, including experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and model evaluation.
- 5+years of experience and Proficiency in programming for AI/ML (e.g., Python, relevant libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and solid software engineering practices.
- Experience with data engineering concepts, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and working with structured and unstructured data.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and MLOps practices for deploying, monitoring, and maintaining models in production environments.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively with product, engineering, and business stakeholders, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and commitment to secure, reliable solutions.
- Experience in enterprise environments or domains such as healthcare, retail, logistics, banking, or manufacturing is a plus.
