Job Summary:
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary leader to join our organization as the President – Real Estate Project Development. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in real estate project planning, execution, and delivery. Based in Chennai, the President will oversee all aspects of project development including land acquisition, design, approvals, construction, budgeting, and stakeholder management, ensuring high-quality and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and drive the strategic vision for project development across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Identify market opportunities and lead feasibility assessments for new projects.
Project Planning & Execution:
Lead end-to-end project development lifecycle from concept to completion.
Manage timelines, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
Land Acquisition & Legal Coordination:
Oversee land identification, due diligence, and acquisition in collaboration with legal teams.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and government approvals.
Design & Development:
Collaborate with architects, consultants, and design teams to develop world-class real estate products.
Integrate sustainable and cost-effective practices in design and construction.
Stakeholder Management:
Build strong relationships with government authorities, JV partners, vendors, and internal teams.
Represent the company in high-level negotiations and public forums.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of professionals across engineering, planning, finance, and sales functions.
Foster a high-performance, collaborative work culture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
MBA or Master's degree in Project Management, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
Minimum 20 years of experience in real estate development with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects.
Deep understanding of the regulatory environment, real estate market trends, and construction technologies in India.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic thinking capabilities.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience managing projects in Tier 1 cities, particularly in South India.
Familiarity with smart city concepts, green building practices, and urban planning.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience and industry standards
