Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven National Sales Head to lead and manage our dairy division's national sales operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the dairy industry, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion. This role involves overseeing the national sales strategy, building and managing high-performing sales teams, and establishing strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

   1) Sales Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive national sales strategy to achieve the company’s revenue and market share goals within the dairy sector.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Set annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets and monitor performance to ensure alignment with company objectives.

  2) Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the national sales team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Build and sustain high-performing sales teams across different regions.

    3) Sales Execution & Operations:

  • Oversee day-to-day sales operations and ensure smooth execution across all regions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, logistics, and production teams to ensure alignment and efficient delivery of products.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key retail, distribution, and wholesale partners across the country.

     4) Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers.
  • Ensure a customer-first approach, resolving issues promptly and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and close high-value sales agreements with strategic clients.

      5) Budgeting & Reporting:

  • Manage the national sales budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize sales growth.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, trends, and forecasts to senior management.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of sales programs and make recommendations for improvements.

 Skills and Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of the dairy industry, including market trends, customer preferences, and distribution channels.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, expanding market share, and achieving financial targets.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the country.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the FMCG or dairy industry.
