Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Articleship role based in Mumbai. The articled trainee will assist in audit assignments for banks and corporates.
Responsibilities include supporting compliance reviews, helping in preparation and filing of regulatory reports, and maintaining accurate records and schedules.
The role involves participating in consultancy projects, conducting basic financial and regulatory research, and preparing draft reports and presentations under guidance.
The trainee will collaborate with team members, follow professional standards, and learn to use technology tools and firm-specific software to deliver high-quality services to clients.
Qualifications
- Pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA) with eligibility for registering Articleship; strong academic foundation in accounting, audit, and taxation.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and basic regulatory frameworks relevant to banks and corporate clients.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; comfort with technology-driven workflows and learning new software tools.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a professional team environment.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and willingness to take initiative, learn continuously, and meet deadlines.
- Prior internship or practical exposure in CA or finance-related roles is an advantage but not mandatory.
