Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Article and Paid Assistant based in Delhi, India. The Article and Paid Assistant will support day-to-day professional work, including assisting with audits, tax and compliance assignments, and preparation and review of working papers and documentation. Responsibilities include researching relevant laws and regulations, organizing and maintaining client records, preparing drafts of reports, returns, and other statutory documents under supervision, and coordinating with clients to obtain required information. The role also involves supporting senior team members in analysis, compilation of data, and follow-up on pending matters, while adhering to deadlines and internal quality standards. The position provides structured learning, exposure to diverse industries, and opportunities to develop strong technical and professional skills.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and apply relevant laws and regulations.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for preparing documentation, reports, and clear client correspondence.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with using accounting or tax-related software tools.
- Ability to work diligently in a team-based environment, manage time effectively, and meet statutory and internal deadlines.
- Pursuing or completed relevant professional studies (e.g., CA Articleship or equivalent) and a strong academic record in commerce, finance, or a related field.
- High levels of integrity, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback and structured training.
- Familiarity with Indian taxation, audit, and regulatory frameworks is an advantage; prior internship or articleship experience is a plus.
